I first heard of Mamavation after attending BlissDom 2011, and was very quickly welcomed into the awesome community of other moms trying to do the same things I am trying to do. I pledged the Sistahood, and aside from a small break last Spring, I have been posting regularly on Mamavation Monday for nearly a year. I have watched several Mamavation Mom Campaigns, and thought (just like when I watch Biggest Loser) “I wish I had the guts to do that.” At the end of each campaign, I have a serious sit down talk with my husband about applying for the next, and each time I have donned my chicken feathers and decided just to watch, AGAIN.
Anyone who reads this blog knows that I have unique moment in which I am motivated by the greatest of motivators, the reminder that life is too short. I am seizing the moment and applying to be a Mamavation Mom! For those of you who aren’t already part of the Mamavation community, this means that I have applied for the opportunity to be selected for a boot camp style weight loss program that lasts 7 weeks and is fully documented within the blog, video, live on Mamavation TV, and throughout social media. Only two Moms are chosen, and the honor is huge!! So I desperately need your support through this experience, and I need your help now!
If you are on Twitter, please let Leah know that I have your support by tweeting the following: “Hey @bookieboo! I want @TishaMarie to be the next #Mamavation Mom. She has my support! http://bit.ly/aorv3Y”
If you are only on Facebook, stop by the Mamavation Facebook page and tell Leah why you think I will make a great candidate
If you want to learn more check out the Mamavation About Page
Here is my application video for your enjoyment and my humility…

Okay, I’ve officially bauled my eyes out! You are amazing and I’m glad you have made us realize that we aren’t living a life like we are living. Many of us are living like we are dying and we either don’t care or can’t see it. My eyes are open & I can see why my dad had worried for so many years as I’m sure your parents have also.
I’m so glad you are seizing this moment!
